Provision of BVLOS Autonomous Systems Demonstrator to the Net Zero Technology Centre Limited

Tender description

The aim of this proposed funded demonstration is to inform the stakeholder community that at least one aspect needed to achieve Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) autonomous operation is now feasible. This could mean: - the use of certified components, - redundancy in terms of architecture/systems, - high integrity on-board decision making (e.g. compliance to rules of the air), - behavioural compliance in Transponder Mandated Zones (TMZ), - compliance to existing or proposed regulations, - the ability to get close to an asset (such as a gas platform or windfarm) in order to undertake a survey that was previously thought not possible, or - any other aspect that an applicant may choose to submit
