Award of a Contract for Rental of Office Equipment

Tender description

Direct Award of a three year term of contract for the rental of 130 various Ricoh Multi-Function Devices. Direct award of contract extending the agreement for rental of the existing fleet of 130 under utilised multi-function devices due staff home working during the Covid-19 pandemic. To date, multi-function device utilisation is 11% of service life with the fleet having a minimum of 89% of service life remaining. Heriot-Watt University has therefore decided to extend the existing rental contract by a further three year term to gain maximum utilisation of the existing Ricoh multi functioin device fleet. A three year call off contract has been agreed with the incumbent supplier under the Scottish Government Framework Agreement SP-16-013 ICT Products Office Equipment Framework.
