Taxi and private hire car provision

Tender description

The Airport is looking to secure the provision of hackney taxis and private hire cars from the taxi area for users of the airport. Lot 1: Hackney taxi provision The provision of hackney taxis from Edinburgh Airport taxi area for users of Edinburgh Airport. Additional information: EAL may also consider tenders for 36 or 48 month periods. The value shown at II.1.5 is the estimated value EAL expects to be the total value of fares for hackney taxis and private hire cars at EAL over the lifetime of the contract (Lot 1 and Lot 2 combined value and assuming 60 months duration and based on current passenger forecast and current taxi mode share). Lot 2: Private hire car provision The provision of private hire cars from the taxi area for users of Edinburgh airport. Additional information: EAL may also consider tenders for 36 or 48 month periods.
