NWL0123 Provision of coordination, oversight and delivery of engagement to assess health needs project in Kensington

NHS North West London requires the provision of coordination, oversight and delivery of engagement to assess health needs in Kensington. The aim of the project is to effectively coordinate the assessment of Kensington population health needs, recommend a future continued programme of work, to identify a provision and funding to deliver such work. Key requirements include: • Knowledge of the North West London Partnership and Care Environment with existing links to the NWL Integrated Care System; • Oversight of culturally competent engagement across a population of c.40,000; • Coordinate an approach that builds upon and maintains partnerships; • Ability to leverage external networks for expertise and input as and when required; • Identify and pursue funding for future programmes of work related to findings. A critical requirement is that the Provider has track record of effective multi-agency partnership working within North West London and Kensington and is able to evidence delivery against timescales and targets. The Provider must show an understanding of garnering the trust of the community. NHS North West London is committed to assess the needs of the population and consider how it can identify health needs, improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness in the provision of services. Given the specialised nature of the service required, NHS NW London is currently of the view that Imperial Academic Health Science Centre hosted by Imperial College London, is best placed to deliver the service having developed linkages, working relationships and key requirements in place.
