FURTHER COMPETITION FOR THE EXTENSION AND IMPROVEMENTS TO OLD DOWN HALL BASINGSTOKE (UNDER THE PROCURE PARTNERSHIPS PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FRAMEWORK

Tender description

Old Down Hall is a community facility that has been serving the Kempshott area of Basingstoke and the wider community for 15 years. Situated to the north of Old Down Park, it is a relatively small building with limited parking. Basingstoke as a town has been expanding and with significant housing development immediately to the south of Old Down Park, the demand on community services in the area is rising and in its existing form, Old Down Hall will not be able to meet the demand of the new residents. There is an opportunity with S106 developer contributions received from the nearby development, to improve and expand Old Down Hall to increase its capacity and suitability for residents, therefore Basingstoke and Deane Council (The Council) is seeking to appoint a Multi-Disciplined supplier to take this project through the different stages from initial design assessment to completion (RIBA stages 0 - 7 ) to deliver a fit for purpose community hall.
