CLA UUK/GuildHE Higher Education License: negotiated 3 year agreement, 1st August 2022 – 31st July 2025 Includes the Newspaper Licensing Agency (NLA) annual Higher Education Licence: 1st August 2022-31st July 2025 The CLA licence provides annual blanket permissions to copy and reuse content from print and digital publications. Make copies from digital and print books, magazines, journals and websites Share copies with students and staff Store copies on your intranet Copy up to one article, chapter or 10% of the total, whichever is greater Copy publications from the UK plus 38 international territories The CLA License also includes access to the Digital Content Store (DCS). DCS is the workflow system used by the University to request and deliver legally copyright cleared digital extracts and digital course packs via our online reading lists system. The NLA Licence provides blanket permission to copy and reuse (for educational purposes) content from: UK newspapers UK magazines News websites International newspapers and magazines
