<p>The Fusilier Museum, Bury is pleased to invite expressions of interest from suitably qualified, enterprising and experienced caterers for the formal tender of the museum's catering provision in the cafe.</p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity to provide the catering at one of Bury’s leading visitor attractions. The museum is looking for a caterer who can provide a consistent standard of high-quality catering primarily for the cafe and eventually to deliver the hospitality offer for the museum's Venue Hire service.</p> <p>The Fusilier Museum is home to the collections of the XX Lancashire Fusiliers and the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. Together they record over 300 years of history and heritage of the people who served and continue to serve in the regiments. It is conveniently located in the cultural quarter in Bury Town Centre next door to Bury Art Gallery and is very near to the East Lancashire Railway and The Met Theatre. It also has a large, modern first floor café with 70 covers which overlooks Gallipoli garden. The museum welcomes day visitors, office workers, community groups and before COVID-19 regulars who would meet friends or relatives for lunch or coffee and a cake. The museum is also a venue for a wide range of events including training, conferences, meetings, weddings and special occasions. Long term we would like to build a partnership with the chosen caterer to possibly extend the service to cover provision for any events taking place in the building.</p> <p>We are looking for a caterer who can provide a consistent standard of high-quality catering for the year-round daytime offer in the café. We are particularly keen to hear from caterers bringing enthusiasm, passion for food and something new to our offer.
