Welcome Back Fund - "Springing into Spring"

The Council is looking for a company to design, manage and deliver its “Springing into Spring” events funded through the Welcome Back Fund – Strand 5 - Support to promote a safe public environment for a local area’s visitor economy. The project is receiving up to £779,430 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (and in London the intermediate body Greater London Authority) is the Managing Authority for European Regional Development Fund. Established by the European Union, the European Regional Development Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regenerations. For more information visit https://www.gov.uk/european-growth-funding The events will need to be delivered in our District Centres as defined by the Council’s Local Plan Kirklees Council - Kirklees Local Plan - Allocations & Designations - 6.7 District Centres The value of this contract is £150,000 and will commence on or as near to the 7 February 2022 and end on or before the 31 March 2022. The funding will cover both management and delivery costs as well as any costs incurred to design the events and ensure their smooth running.
