Fota House Frameyard Glasshouse Painting and Associated Works

Tender description

The works relate to the external painting with itemised repairs to the 3no Glasshouses identified as Pit House 4, Glasshouse 5 and Glasshouse 6. External painting, replacement putty and remedial repairs to framing and glass panes will be required. The Frameyard is part of the overall visitor attraction and is open to the public, 10:30am – 5pm, March to end of September. It is important to note that there is an expectation that any works carried out prior to the end of September will have to coincide with on site visitors. Crossover areas will be clearly identified and managed to maintain the safety of both visitors and Contractors – Please refer to the Preliminary Health and Safety Plan and the Site Layout Plans – T-G01 and T-G-02. It is also an area where volunteers of Fota House assist our gardener’s in growing potted plants for sale to the public. The staff and management at Fota House and The Frameyard will work with the contractor to help facilitate a safe and accessible working environment taking into account the above. Subject to Public Funding all works must complete by 14th Oct 2022
