3416.AMRC.MY.22 Form-wound coil manufacturing suite The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a Form-wound coil manufacturing suite on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire. Scope of Requirement The AMRC has a requirement for equipment to manufacture precision preformed coils for high-performance electrical machines for use in prototyping and development work. By way of indication, the suite of equipment might include a linear winding machine, coil stretching/shaping machine, and presses for shaping and consolidating resin-rich taped coils.
