Outdoor Dining Experience Project at Bedford Row & Lower Thomas St. Limerick- Supply & Fit Contract for Pergola Structures

Tender description

A network of self supporting, modular system of pergolas are required for this project that will extend along the frontages of restaurants and cafes from Bedford Row to Lower Thomas Street. It is the intention of Limerick City and County Council that this scheme will extend the covered outdoor dining space into the street for use throughout the daytime and evening time during the calendar year in all reasonable weather conditions. The pergolas will be provided for and installed by the Council for the adjacent businesses under a licencing agreement for a minimum renewable period of five years. Subject to fair wear and tear, the operation & maintenance of the pergolas and the cleansing of the allocated areas will be the responsibility of the licensee. The costs for electrical supply to the pergola units associated with each business will be the responsibility of the respective businesses themselves.
