Tender description

The solution features the following elements: - 4 x nodes in data centre providing backup data for fast operational restores. - All chassis are covered Support and Critical Support coverage - Replication to the multitenant cluster in a secondary back-up Data Centre, providing a secondary copy of backup data. - Backup management server, firewall and switch providing segregation of backup management. - Deployment and Installation services. - Management and Monitoring (24x7x365). Wheatley Housing Group require data management platform services and the expansion of such services to include the following: - Increased de-duplication and compression due to variable block size - True secondary storage target allowing for migration of Filesystems from primary storage systems. To benefit from lower cost of storage. - Scalable to Petabytes through addition of nodes – only pay for data stored. - Leverage ultra-low cost storage for Archives using NFS/S3/Object storage - Set retention policies for each backup set that makes most effective use of local, cloud and archive for both costs and RPO/RTO
