REQUEST FOR INFORMATION UNDER THE CCS NETWORK SERVICES AGREEMENT RM3808: LOT 1 (DATA ACCESS SERVICES) AND LOT 2 (LOCAL CONNECTIVITY SERVICES) City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (the Council) has recently gone to market for a Dark Fibre contract, which over the next 4 years will supply circuits to over Corporate and School sites. The Dark Fibre contract is based over 20 years. The Council are now looking for a supplier to work in partnership with them over a 5-year period to supply interim connectivity and network services to all Corporate and Schools as necessary. Initially this will involve the supplier providing connectivity for all circuits from April 2022 for Schools and September 2022 for Corporate sites and managed WAN services as required. The supplier will then migrate services over to the new infrastructure once available during the contract period, the majority of these during year 2,3 and 4 of the contract. The managed service will continue for the entire length of the contract and will operate on both the interim connections and the New Dark Fibre connections. The current managed services and infrastructure are supplied by Virgin Media Business Ltd. The Virgin Media contract ends March 2022 for Schools and September 2022 for Corporate Sites
