Ireland’s inland waterways have a long history of stories and tales stretching from the formation of the rivers and lakes during the Ice Age, to the frenzy of canal building in the 1800s, through to the present day. Waterways Ireland is committed, through its Archive, to preserving the history, memories and stories of the waterways. To increase audience engagement and reach, the Waterways Ireland Archive procured the services of a Podcast Host and Producer in 2021 to deliver the pilot podcast series Waterways Through Time. https://archive.waterwaysireland.org/collections/8/-podcast-waterways-through-time Launched in February 2022 the 8 podcast episodes featured a mixture of narration on the early history of the inland navigable waterways and a selection of interviews with past and present Waterways Ireland staff, who have worked as lock keepers and waterway patrollers. Following the success of the podcast pilot series, Waterways Ireland now wishes to procure further services. This aim of this procurement is to establish a multi-supplier framework with suitably qualified and experienced suppliers encompassing both content creation and podcast services. Suppliers admitted to the framework must be able to provide both podcast and content creation services.
