We have a unique role in audiences’ lives: to inform, educate and entertain millions of people in the UK and around the world. To deliver this for all audiences, we need to attract and retain world-class, diverse talent and unite everyone behind a common set of values and behaviours. When colleagues face situations at work where a Manager or HR provides support and guidance, sometimes there is a need to capture the content of these meetings, formally, to enable a record of the discussion and ensure compliance with BBC Policy and Procedures. We are exploring technology and software solutions as an alternative to traditional manual note taking methods. We are exploring whether using alternative methods will enable a more dynamic and cost effective approach to the recording and transcription of meetings.
