Ash Die-back Diseased Tree Services - Pre-tender market engagement

Managing Ash dieback, tree safety and any woodland estate works as required within SE Wales Lot 1: NRW is undertaking pre-tender market engagement to improve our understanding of issues and possible solutions in the arboricultural tree safety market with a view of undertaking a procurement exercise later in 2022. NRW has an urgent requirement for additional certified contractors to manage a large volume of tree safety works across SE Wales. Contractors are required to carry out works on managing Ash dieback, tree safety and any woodland estate works as required within SE Wales. Appointed Contractors will complement the existing framework agreement that NRW has for Arboriculture and Chainsaw Services. NRW will be holding an open period for pre-tender market engagement between 4th July and 22nd July 2022. Contractors operating in South East Wales are encouraged to get in touch to discuss the challenges and possible solutions around market capacity, quoting and tendering. Contractors’ input is strongly encouraged so that NRW can establish efficient, constructive collaborative arrangements with its supply chain providers. During this open pre-tender market engagement period contractors are invited to:- -Attend a face to face meeting with the SE Area Land Management Team and NRW Procurement -Attend an online MS Teams meeting with the SE Area Land Management Team and NRW Procurement -Attend an open contractor briefing session on MS Teams.
