Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) Training Service for Children's Services

Lincolnshire County Council ("The Council") requires the supply of high-quality Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Training for Lincolnshire’s Children’s Services Residential Care Officers from 1^st October 2022. The training will be delivered predominantly at Children’s Services Residential Care Homes across the County, including, but not limited to: Grantham, Sleaford, Gainsborough, Spalding, and Lincoln with added flexibility to deliver the training at alternative locations and at different times as required. TCI training will require delivery in the following ways depending on staff need: • Complete training – to include all elements of de-escalation and restraint • De-escalation training only • Restraint training only • Refresher training   Approximately 150 staff are expected to receive TCI training per annum and this number fluctuates according to numbers of new staff, changes in staffing capacity and numbers of staff requiring updated and refresher training This Contract opportunity will be let on the basis of three years initially with the possibility of two additional extensions of one year each (3+1+1) up to the 30th September 2027.
