Tender description

Bradford Council (the Council) licence Hackney Carriage and Private Hire drivers to operate within the Bradford MDC. As such the Council has a responsibility to ensure that the drivers that it is issuing licences to are capable of driving to and maintaining a professional standard. This tender is for suitably qualified and experienced people to carry out driver assessment tests and to produce a report of the outcome of the test by completing the ASSESSMENT FORM (IMPROVED STANDARD) attached as Appendix 2. Approximately 1000 assessment tests are required per year for both new drivers applying to become Licenced, as well as for remedial training and assessment if a driving concern has been identified. This volume is not guaranteed and may go down as well as up. The intention is to establish a framework contract of a maximum of 3 suitably qualified Providers. The Framework is to last for a period of 3 years with 1 option to extend for a period of 12 months at the Councils discretion
