Off-Street Electric Vehicle Charge Points

Tender description

WCC is considering delivering EV charging points for vehicles in "off street" locations. These locations consist of housing estates, schools, depots, leisure facilities and other locations. The majority of these will be in housing estate locations which have traffic orders applied on them, and so only allowing housing residents with permits to park in that particular estate. WCC will be looking to procure the design, installation / civils and ongoing ability for charging residents/users for electricity used. The service will need to include the management and maintenance of the equipment as well as the necessary support services to customers looking to charge their vehicle (app and back office support). The purpose of this PIN is twofold. One, to notify the market that a future procurement is likely to occur during the next 12 months, and two, to understand in greater detail how WCC could deliver this service and gain invaluable information from the market to help support the WCC future strategy, a short questionnaire is available for interested organisation to respond to.
