Tender description
The Breastfeeding Promotion and Community Peer Support Service, builds community capacity to support breastfeeding and work as part of a multi-agency approach alongside the Council, local businesses and the health, education and social care economy within the Wakefield District to normalise breastfeeding in the district and support improvements in breastfeeding outcomes. Lot 1: The tender process was undertaken as a 'open' light touch regime process and was evaluated against pre-determined evaluation criteria which were published in the Council's tender documents. Selection criteria were used to allow the Council to identify organisations with sufficient capacity and capability to deliver the Contract.
