<p>South Somerset District Council (SSDC) are transforming The Octagon Theatre, Yeovil into a flagship venue for the arts and entertainment in Somerset. The plans will realise The Octagon Theatre transformed into a centre of excellence. &nbsp;</p> <p>Guests will be able to enjoy hot and cold food from our central Caf&eacute; hub that will be open throughout the day and will be a destination and meeting place in its own right whilst also serving those attending performances, screenings, events and classes. Bars on all three floors will serve refreshments balancing the &lsquo;high-intensity&rsquo; of interval and pre-show service with a more relaxing offer and a place to unwind.&nbsp;</p> <p>A catering consultant is required to work with the Authority and their design/project team to build on a previously feasibility study by developing the brief with SSDC and feeding the information into the development of the Stage 3 and Stage 4 architectural and services design.</p> <p>The catering offer will be an important part of the new offer and is expected to be strong enough to create a destination venue for food.</p> Keywords: Catering Consultant, theatres
