Tender description

This Framework Agreement is for Contractors to deliver Energy Efficient Measures for Durham County Council in privately owned domestic properties. The works will involve delivering energy efficiency measures in qualifying domestic dwellings across the County of Durham. Lot 1: • Lot 1 Supply, Install and Maintenance of Central Heating including Gas, Electric and Oil systems and their controls. New high efficiency gas central heating boilers (combi and heat only); high efficiency electric storage heating; high efficiency oil boilers. Boiler servicing, repairs and installing heating controls. Lot 2: LOT 2 Insulation Measures including Cavity Wall, Party Wall and Loft. Cavity wall insulation* fully warranted with ECO PAS2035 and CIGA 20 year guarantee (contractor must specify systems to be used) Lot 3: LOT 3 Insulation Measures including Solid Wall and External Wall. External wall insulation* fully warranted with 20 year guarantee with optional 'Art brick' and stone finish including an integrated 'EWI Pro' or alternative gutter system (contractor must specify systems to be used and provide samples of rendered finishes in 1000mmx1000mm panels) Lot 4: LOT 4 Renewable and Hybrid Heating Systems including Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar Panels, Ground Source Heat Pumps. First-time central heating and hot water systems using air /Ground source/Hybrid heat pump technology *(contractor must specify heat pumps, tank and control technology) Lot 5: Lot 5 Domestic Solar Photo Voltaic domestic arrays and battery storage systems Domestic Solar Photo Voltaic domestic arrays and battery storage systems Lot 6: Lot 6 Double Glazing and door replacement including repair Part L, FENSA approved and warranted double glazing and door replacement (contractor to specify units and systems to be used) Lot 7: Lot 7 Multi Measure Projects This could include one or all of the lots 1-6 in one or more premises and across geographical areas. Lot 8: Lot 8 Principle Designer / CDM Co-ordinator / Contract administrator Full CDM service
