<p>LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT</p> <p><strong><em>Are you interested in being awarded a Brent Council contract?</em></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The London Borough of Brent invites you to play an active role in meeting our target to be a net zero authority by 2030.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;<em>We know that the majority of our carbon impact comes from the goods and services we procure. We therefore need your support if we are to achieve our targets and become net zero for our residents and businesses. </em></p> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>To work towards this, the eight West London Authorities and West London Waste have collaborated on developing a combined approach to engaging our suppliers on low and zero carbon. This will give you a better understanding of the low and zero carbon requirements when submitting a tender or quote for a Brent Council contract.</em></p> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>We would like to invite you to a session being run to explain this in more detail to you. We will be seeking your input on what you are already doing, or planning to do, to reduce your carbon emissions. You will also have the opportunity to ask us questions on how we are implementing this.</em></p> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>The session will take place online using Zoom.
