Tender description

Tenders are sought for the supply of a Forensic Laser System ( Quantity x2) for Forensic Science Ireland within the Fingermark Visualisation Laboratory (FVL). The FVL requires the supply, installation, and commissioning of the lasers for the forensic examination of items using dual wavelengths (blue and green) for the purpose of visualising fingermarks both pre- and post-chemical treatment. The laser system should be of the latest technology, easy to use, compact, robust, and be capable of: • A powerful and switchable laser output at both 445nm and 532nm. • Providing all necessary accessories such as camera filters and goggles. • Brightness adjustment of the laser output. • Handheld operation for ease of use. • Robust safety features.
