Tender description
The purpose of this framework is to provide All Wales land management teams with the resource to manage the general maintenance programme of work predominantly within NRW managed land. This framework could also be used for NRW funded projects if appropriate. The contractors will be required to carry out a range of maintenance, installation and repair activities in different areas of the NRW estate. These can include but not limited to forestry areas, recreational areas, Visitor centres, National Nature Reserves, and land managed by NRW. Lot 1: North East Wales The purpose of this framework is to provide land management teams with the resource to manage the general maintenance programme of work predominantly within NRW managed land (local forestry areas, recreational areas, visitor centres and NNR’s). The type of work covered under this framework includes but not limited to: repairing existing fencing, sign posting, maintaining or replacing Countryside furniture, litter picking, strimming, car park maintenance, minor trail maintenance, boardwalk installation and repairs Lot 2: North West – Ynys Mon, Pen Lleyn & Gwydyr The purpose of this framework is to provide land management teams with the resource to manage the general maintenance programme of work predominantly within NRW managed land (local forestry areas, recreational areas, visitor centres and NNR’s). The type of work covered under this framework includes but not limited to: repairing existing fencing, sign posting, maintaining or replacing Countryside furniture, litter picking, strimming, car park maintenance, minor trail maintenance, boardwalk installation and repairs Lot 3: North West – Coed-y-Brenin The purpose of this framework is to provide land management teams with the resource to manage the general maintenance programme of work predominantly within NRW managed land (local forestry areas, recreational areas, visitor centres and NNR’s). The type of work covered under this framework includes but not limited to: repairing existing fencing, sign posting, maintaining or replacing Countryside furniture, litter picking, strimming, car park maintenance, minor trail maintenance, boardwalk installation and repairs. Lot 4: Mid Wales - North West The purpose of this framework is to provide land management teams with the resource to manage the general maintenance programme of work predominantly within NRW managed land (local forestry areas, recreational areas, visitor centres and NNR’s). The type of work covered under this framework includes but not limited to: repairing existing fencing, sign posting, maintaining or replacing Countryside furniture, litter picking, strimming, car park maintenance, minor trail maintenance, boardwalk installation and repairs Lot 5: Mid Wales – North East The purpose of this framework is to provide land management teams with the resource to manage the general maintenance programme of work predominantly within NRW managed land (local forestry areas, recreational areas, visitor centres and NNR’s). The type of work covered under this framework includes but not limited to: repairing existing fencing, sign posting, maintaining or replacing Countryside furniture, litter picking, strimming, car park maintenance, minor trail maintenance, boardwalk installation and repairs Lot 7: Mid Wales – South Irfon and Brecon Beacons The purpose of this framework is to provide land management teams with the resource to manage the general maintenance programme of work predominantly within NRW managed land (local forestry areas, recreational areas, visitor centres and NNR’s). The type of work covered under this framework includes but not limited to: repairing existing fencing, sign posting, maintaining or replacing Countryside furniture, litter picking, strimming, car park maintenance, minor trail maintenance, boardwalk installation and repairs Lot 8: South West – Pembrokeshire The purpose of this framework is to provide land management teams with the resource to manage the general maintenance programme of work predominantly within NRW managed land (local forestry areas, recreational areas, visitor centres and NNR’s). The type of work covered under this framework includes but not limited to: repairing existing fencing, sign posting, maintaining or replacing Countryside furniture, litter picking, strimming, car park maintenance, minor trail maintenance, boardwalk installation and repairs Lot 9: South West - Carmarthenshire The purpose of this framework is to provide land management teams with the resource to manage the general maintenance programme of work predominantly within NRW managed land (local forestry areas, recreational areas, visitor centres and NNR’s).
