Tender description
<p>Gateshead Council (“The Council”), are carrying out this Soft Market Testing Exercise (SMTE) prior to the re-tender of the contract for a combined communications solution that will consist of the provision and management of business Broadband (including WIFI support) and a hosted telephony system across 7 of its business centres. All services are required 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.</p> <p>The Council expect that this Contract will be awarded to one supplier who shall provide them with the entire solution, inclusive of support, maintenance and management (this will include but is not limited to):</p> <p>• a helpdesk where Council officers can report faults and a named point of contact where issues can be escalated as required.</p> <p>• Proactive/preventative actions to prevent issues/outages</p> <p>• Team dedicated to the provision of this contract</p> <p>• Service/helpdesk during operational times</p> <p>• Contact and logging procedures</p> <p>• Prioritisation method</p> <p>The Council are keen to seek the markets views both through use of a questionnaire and via 1-2-1 meetings (appointments will be given on a first come basis), of which 8 spaces are available.
