Refurbishment of four (4) fire damaged houses for Galway City Council (1)

Tender description

The scope of works includes the following; • Remodelling of fire damaged properties at various locations in Galway city. It includes demolition, clean-up internal and external, removing fire damaged plaster and re-plastering, painting all internal walls, ceilings, timber skirting, timber door frames, timber doors, provision of new slip resistant vinyl flooring and making good to plaster walls, provision of new windows ,doors, kitchens and bathrooms. Complete rewire required on each property, Refer to electrical specification  Ensure existing surfaces, floors and walls are protected throughout works. Make good any defects that arise throughout works.  Contractor to prepare a detailed bar chart programme to cover all builders work, specialists and domestic sub-contractors and directly employed specialist contractors and in respect of supervising and managing the works to ensure compliance with the overall programme of works and any subsequent alterations.  Contractor to remove from site all materials arising from demolition work as the works proceed to a licensed landfill / recycling centre, unless it can be recycled or reused elsewhere in the project, subject to compliance with appropriate regulations.Works are to commence beginning of May 2022 and are to be substantially complete by August 2022
