Tender description

The Contracting Authority seeks a Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure solution comprising on-Premise Hyper Converged Infrastructure and integrated Public/Private Cloud infrastructure, controlled via a single management interface to replace its legacy systems. The Contracting Authority believes a Hybrid Cloud model will enable High Application availability, ensure Data Loss Prevention, offer a robust Backup\Disaster Recovery solution and provide Business Continuity, enabling the Contracting Authority to easily and quickly deploy Systems/Services on-Premise or in the Cloud according to business requirements. The Contracting Authority requires an efficient, cost effective solution that is flexible, scalable and will cater for future growth and business needs. The Contracting Authority also requires an efficient and cost-effective data backup solution for both physical and virtual machines, which must be application aware and offer file level backup. The Contracting Authority requires a fully managed hosted Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) solution for a number of business critical systems including file servers, applications servers and database servers. The Contracting Authority is operating in a dynamic environment and will have requirements to replicate additional Virtual Machines (VMs) out to the DRaaS facility, cease replication and remove VMs from DRaaS, and modify resources on VMs which are being replicated The Contracting Authority requires an RPO (Recovery Point Objective) of 30 minutes or less and an RTO (Recovery Time Objective) of 1 hour or less for all Servers in the DR facility. Servers that need to be kept synchronised have been marked as such in the ‘Sync’ column. The DRaaS facility must be located in the European Union (EU). Data must be encrypted during transit and at rest in the DRaaS facility. The Contracting Authority requires a Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in the DRaaS facility to accommodate public facing services.
