Tender description

This specialist programme of wellbeing, fitness and lifestyle session for pregnant women and new mothers is coproduced with Liverpool Women's Hospital. The programme supports the health of women in the perinatal period including fitness for birth. An extension to the current contract is required to allow for a review of the function against needs within the city. A working group will be set up to carry out this work and determine whether this function will be ceased, provided in an alternative way or incorporated into the planned public health integrated wellness service. The new integrated wellness service will commence in the second half of 2023. This period will provide time for a review, agreement of future commissioning intentions and exit strategy safely from the current service.
