TD1820 - Derby Libraries Van Service

Tender description

Derby City Council (the Council) is seeking to appoint a single provider for the provision of a libraries van delivery service within the boundary of Derby City. The Service Provide will be responsible for providing an inter-library van delivery / collection service, transporting books, equipment, consumables and furniture between each of the libraries and the Council House. Deposit collections of books also need to be circulated between residential homes for older people and the Blagreaves library on a six-weekly rota. Service Providers should provide a van to transport items in a safe and secure manner. There are 16 library locations across the city comprising of: • The 'central sorting point at the Acquisitions Unit within Blagreaves library. • 14 other libraries in the network • Libraries headquarters located at the Council House
