The 4 year contract is designed to continue the maintenance of the closed landfills, which are dynamic environments requiring routine and ad-hoc repairs. These sites have allowed nature to return as part of their management, but access to monitoring points is still necessary, creating a requirement for mowing and other landscaping services. Maintenance of security and water management features at these sites is vitally important to safeguard surrounding environment and population. This creates a requirement for fencing, drainage and ditch services. The management of these sites also creates many other smaller areas of works, full details of which can be located in the specification.
