Tender description

This is a contract opportunity for a single provider to deliver self-harm support services working with service users aged eleven and upwards (including adults). Description The service will offer a three-strand approach across North Ayrshire to support service users and develop good practices around this issue. The three strands are: One to one support service for those who wish to address their self-harm Training and awareness-raising sessions for all agencies Developmental being able to respond organically to new developments and pieces of work The aims of the service are Provide and promote individual self-harm coping strategies and an understanding of the triggers for self-harming behaviour. Provide awareness and understanding of self-harm and its issues for individuals, families, and workers. Reduce self-harming behaviour and minimise harm. Increase community understanding around those who self-harm.
