Tender description

Rutland County Council requires transport and Home to School services for multiple routes for residents in Rutland. The routes are split over three Lots including: Lot 1 Education Bus Services; Lot 2 Specialist Transport Services; Lot 3 Pence per mile for bus and taxi routes. Please note that there are no public transport route for this tender on this occasion. Please check the routes in Document Two for route information and mandatory requirements. Lot 1: Education Bus Service This is an Open Tender compliant with the Public Contract Regulations 2015. This Lot has two routes which are both five year contracts, requiring vehicles with a minimum of 32 seats. An Enhanced adult and child DBS check is a mandatory requirement for these routes. No qualitative assessment is required on this Lot - 100% price only. Lot 2: Specialist Transport Services This is an Open Tender compliant with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. This Lot has 36 routes and contract lengths and requirements vary. Please see Document Two for route and requirement information. No qualitative assessment is required on this Lot - 100% price only. Lot 3: Pence Per Mile This is an Open Tender compliant with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. This is a pence per mile Lot with 2 contracts that are awarded for 1 year each in total.
