Housing Gas Central Heating Replacement Programme

East Renfrewshire Council is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the replacement of domestic gas boiler or gas central heating systems at a selection of its housing stock within the East Renfrewshire area. The works involved in the successful completion of the design and installation of boiler or complete gas central heating systems including stripping out of existing gas and electrical heating systems. The works will be a mixture of planned and reactive works. Each property must have the replacement heating system fully operational within a 72 hour period. The successful contractor must be capable of ensuring the delivery of the 72 hour window turn around. At present, the council has the following allocated budget: Year 1. 601,000 GBP Year 2. 550,000 GBP Year 3. 1,228,000 GBP Year 4. 965,000 GBP The council reserves the right to move spend about between years and as highlighted above the council does offer no guarantee’s to uptake of any resulting contract. Year 3 & 4 are subject to the council choosing to extend the contract, which is at its sole discretion.
