The provision of Apprenticeship Training to soldiers of the British Army through Service Provider Contracts under the Army Apprenticeship Programme

The previously published Prior Information Notice (PIN) was to alert the market of the first planned procurements to place four (4) new Tranche One (1) contracts for delivery of apprenticeships under the AAP. The Army is one of the largest Employers of apprentices and operates as an Employer Provider with a mixed delivery model contracting out significant elements of Training and administration of the programme to Training Providers who are listed on the RoATP. The AAP, having met its original contract placement strategy, held an education and briefing session with prospective Training Providers who hold a current listing on RoATP to advise the programmes aims, generic delivery requirements going forward, timelines and how best to engage in the contracting process. Timing: Tuesday 10 May 2022 – 10.30 to 12.30 hours Location: The Lecture Theatre, Army HQ, Marlborough Lines, Andover, SP11 8HJ The Authority is now seeking Service Providers to deliver part of, or all the apprenticeship qualifications covered by Lots 1 to 4. Contract duration will be 6 years from 01 August 2023 for all Lots (Subject to continued provision of apprenticeship levy or Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) funding). The methodology and location for delivery of each apprenticeship varies according to the requirements of each Arm or Service. DPQQ Event - the DPQQ has now been evaluated and moderated, with the results shown in the Contract Bidders Notice attached.
