Ice Cream and Slush Concessions 2022 - 2023 Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is inviting tender submissions from responsible and suitable operators to trade ice cream, slush, candy floss, confectionary and soft drinks only at a number of designated locations across Sandwell Valley Country Park and on Dartmouth Park play area. Designated locations are listed in the specification. Term of Contract The concession will be for a one (1) year period commencing 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023 with an option to extend for a further 12 months. Value of Contract Operators will provide a cost for a one (1) year period for concession 2022/2023 and price will be awarded on the bidder whose proposal represents the highest bid. Concession period 2023/2024 is not a guaranteed year and operators will provide a cost for Information purposes only should the Sandwell Valley Management Team decide to invoke the option to extend the concession for a further 12 months. Payment Concession Fees Payment Concession Fees will remain fixed for the first 12 months of the contract. Making 2 payments per financial year. However, if the concession is extended for a further 12 months, a meeting with the Sandwell Valley Management Team and the successful operator will be held.
