CO-MANAGED SERVICE AGREEMENT WAN, LAN, WLAN & SD-WAN

Tender description

The scope of this contract encompasses the provision of WAN, LAN, WLAN & SD-WAN managed service. 1. Wide Area Network (WAN) underlay to 16 locations in Yorkshire, North East and Cumbria, Connectivity Amazon Web services through Direct Connect, existing data centre and third-party partner organisations 2. Local Area Network (LAN) both Wired and Wireless at each NGN location replacing the existing managed service provider equipment 3. Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) that compliments NGN application use and security requirements. Lot 1: The scope of this contract encompasses the provision of WAN, LAN, WLAN & SD-WAN managed service. 1. Local Area Network (LAN) both Wired and Wireless at each NGN location replacing the existing managed service provider equipment 3. Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) that compliments NGN application use and security requirements. There is currently no SD-WAN solution in place at NGN, however implementation of the technology is currently being considered. The standard setup for NGN locations is a set of at least two underlay connections in order to ensure redundancy. SD-WAN technology provides benefits even on a single link and is capable of creating overlays utilizing any type of transport.
