Provision of Clean and Green Services (Lot 1): The Area Council is looking to commission a Provider to deliver an environmental & educational service in partnership with Ward Alliances, residents, community groups, organisations and businesses. The service will complement the Council’s Core Services to improve the physical appearance of the area. The service will include a strong educational and skills development focus and will be evident in the service provider’s approach. Environmental Education & Campaigning (Lot 2): Provider to deliver an environmental education and campaigning programme to change attitudes and behaviours though community engagement and promotion of community responsibility. The service will cover the Central, Dodworth, Kingstone, Stairfoot and Worsbrough wards and work closely with the Ward Alliances, volunteers, community groups and businesses in each area. The education and campaigning will focus on improving the environment in the short, medium and long term and will include environmental sustainability and protecting the environment for future generations. Lot 44015: Central Area Council - Provision of Clean and Green Services (Lot 1) The Council wishes to procure a Provider to deliver an effective and efficient Clean and Green Service across the 5 wards that make up the Central Council area to improve the overall environmental appearance of the area. Lot 44017: Central Area Council - Environmental Education & Campaigning (Lot 2) Provider to deliver an environmental education and campaigning programme to change attitudes and behaviours though community engagement and promotion of community responsibility. The education and campaigning will focus on improving the environment in the short, medium and long term.
