Tender description
This specification covers the delivery by established and authorised training providers for the provision of training courses to members of the Irish Defence Forces Corps of Engineers. These training courses will be broken down into a number of lots as follows: 1. Lot 1: Delivery of Safe Pass Training Courses in line with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013, which require all construction workers in Ireland, including apprentices and trainees, to hold a valid Safe Pass Registration Card. 2. Lot 2: Delivery of the following Plant and Machinery Training Courses as per the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) and Quarries Skills Certification Scheme (QSCS). Courses as part of this lot will include new entrant and experienced operator courses in the following: a. 180 degree excavator b. 360 degree excavator c. Telehandler d. Articulated Dumper e. Front end loader f. Counterbalance Forklift Operator 3. Lot 3: Delivery of the following specialist Training Courses as per the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). Courses as part of this lot will include new entrant and experienced operator courses in the following: a. Slinger/signaller b. Mobile crane 4. Lot 4: Delivery of the following specialist Training Courses for Instructors in the following: a. MEWP Instructor b. Working at Height Instructor and Harness & Lanyard Inspector c. Abrasive Wheels Instructor Course
