Essential Roof Repair Works

Tender description

The works consist of but are not limited to: - Leaking, damaged and sagging roof guttering needs to be repaired throughout. This will include the removal and re erection of the steel gutter, additional rainwater pipes and connections to surface water drains, installation of additional fascia to cover existing insulation here and also along the gables. - Repairs to guttering on original structure, installation of additional rainwater pipes and connection to surface water system. - Inadequately sized 75mm rainwater downpipes to be replaced throughout and increased in size in accordance with TGD Part H of the Building Regulations. - Flat roof area adjacent to the front courtyard needs works to create fall to existing outlets. No. of outlets to be increased in accordance with TGD Part H of the Building Regulations. Existing clear storey windows to be blocked up and tapered insulation and associated flashings installed. - Revised detail at junction of flat roof with existing pitched roof and erection of new parapet abutting glazed canopy over the main entrance. - Loose ridge tiles and roof verges throughout to be repaired. Installation of dry ridge and dry hip systems to existing pitched roof adjacent to flat roof referred to above. - Unfinished wall above flat roof to be plastered and flashings to be made good. Job must allow for constant access to site for staff and parking.
