The Provision of Vehicle Breakdown Recovery Services

Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council (“the Council”) invites tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the provision of vehicle breakdown recovery services to the Council for its fleet of vehicles and plant.The Council anticipates appointing three (3) contractors to the Framework on a ranked basis. The Council reserves the right to appoint fewer or more contractors to the Framework.The successful contractors will need to be able to provide vehicle breakdown recovery services for all of the following:1.Vehicle Roadside Recovery for vehicles 3.5 ton and below2.Vehicle Roadside Recovery for vehicles over 3.5t up to 18t, up to 2 axle rigid3.Vehicle Roadside Recovery for vehicles over 18t up to 30t, 3 or more axle rigid4.Vehicle Roadside Recovery for Minibuses of up to 16 passenger seats5.Vehicle Roadside Recovery for welfare Minibuses over 16 passenger seatsThe framework will cover the provision of vehicle breakdown recovery services mainly within but, where necessary, outside the boundaries of the County Borough of Neath Port Talbot.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. Express an interest in the ITT.- Login to the portal with the username / password.- Click the ITT Open to all Suppliers’ link.- Alternatively, search for the relevant ITT (itt_91176).- Click on the relevant ITT to access the content.- Click the 'Express Interest' button on the right-hand side of the screen.- This will move the ITT into your 'My ITT pages'. (This is a secure area reserved for your projects only.)- Click on the ITT code, you can now access any attachments by selecting ‘Buyer Attachments'.3.
