Mini Competition for the Receipt and Treatment of Organic Waste under the Scotland Excel Dynamic Purchasing System for the Treatment and Disposal of Recyclable and Residual Waste (no. 27/17)

South Lanarkshire Council has a requirement for a suitably qualified provider for the provision of the Receipt and Treatment of Loose Garden Waste throughout South Lanarkshire. The proposed contract is a renewal of previous procurement arrangements. The call-off contract is under the Scotland Excel Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the Treatment and Disposal of Recyclable and Residual Waste (no. 27/17). The Call Off Contract under the DPS is awarded via Mini-Competition: Lot 2 – Receipt, Treatment and Processing of Organic Waste The Mini Competition contained two geographical sub-lots as detailed below to ensure that the travelling distances and times to/from the reprocessors’ facilities are maintained to a minimum. Lot 2a - Receipt, Treatment and Processing of Loose Garden Waste 2.1a – Call Off Contract for Loose Garden Waste (North Area) 2.2a – Call Off Contract for Loose Garden Waste (South Area) The Council reserved the right to appoint one or more contractors under each Mini Competition based on each geographical sub-lot. The contract will run for a period of three years from 01 April 2022 – 31 March 2025 with the option to extend for a further period of up to 24 months. Lot 1: Receipt and Processing of Loose Garden Waste - North Area South Lanarkshire Council has a requirement for a suitably qualified provider for the provision of the Receipt, Treatment and Processing of Loose Garden Waste throughout South Lanarkshire.
