Tender description

The purpose of this RFI is to identify interested parties from relevant sectors, and to identify their suitability and market capabilities, for sponsoring/hosting initiatives during Public Service Innovation Week 2022. The sponsorship model will provide the market operators with brand exposure through the event itself, event advertising, and associated media coverage. Public Service Innovation Conference: It is the departments intention to host the 2022 Conference as an in person event, with a contingency in place to move to hybrid/online in the event of a change to public health guidelines. The conference, which is normally a full day event, will be held at a suitable location that is to be agreed between the department and the chosen sponsor. The schedule for this event typically consists of contributions from senior political figures, senior leaders from the civil and public service, international speakers and academia. The department will work with the successful market operator to secure contributors and agree the venue and schedule. Innovation Events: Events can be either in person, online or hybrid and may take the form of interactive workshops, hackathons/sprints, webinars, talks or L&D initiatives. Ideally, events should range in duration from a minimum of 1 hour to a maximum of 1 day and must be relevant to the intended audience. This is a market consultation which is being conducted with a view to identifying interested parties to sponsor/host relevant innovation initiatives during Public Service Innovation Week 2022. It is not a call for competition. Lot 239409: Innovation Week 2022 Public Service Innovation Week 2022 will run from Monday 24th October 2022 to Friday 28th October 2022. The theme for 2022 is ‘Championing Innovation and Reform in the Public Sector’. All initiatives planned for Innovation Week must align to one of the 4 strategic priorities outlined in ‘Making Innovation Real’ as follows: • Priority 1: Citizen-centric Innovation • Priority 2: Culture of Innovation • Priority 3: Scale up Innovation • Priority 4: Transformative Innovation
