Housing Support Services / Housing First for 16-25 year olds experiencing homelessness

East Ayrshire Council has an ongoing requirement for an Intensive Housing Support Service for young persons aged 16 to 25 years old experiencing homelessness. The service will provide intensive support and accommodation to young persons experiencing homelessness, who may be experiencing or have experienced one or more of the following:- addictions, adverse childhood experiences, mental health difficulties, learning difficulties, social isolation, criminal justice, domestic problems, other specific issues that require both targeted and generic support. The Provider will be an experienced practitioner in the field of providing intensive housing support services to young persons experiencing homelessness and will have an extensive and verifiable track record of successful outcomes in this field. East Ayrshire Council are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified providers. East Ayrshire Council reserve the right to conduct market research with providers who express interest in this PIN. East Ayrshire Council would also like to explore the idea of a Housing First Service for young people aged 16 to 25 years old experiencing homelessness. We would welcome expressions of interest from providers who have experience in this area or who would be interested in exploring the idea further.
