Provision of a digital solution for patient consent TS/LOC/0559

Tender description

To purchase and implement a digital consenting platform across the Musgrove Park Hospital (MPH) site, and subsequently the whole of SFT, for all operations and interventional procedures. The platform will replace all paper consent forms and introduce a standardised consenting process. This will benefit patients through delivery of a more robust and thorough consenting process, more fully compliant with GMC consenting recommendations. It will benefit the Trust through better oversight, error reduction, reduction in unwanted and unnecessary procedures, the ability to audit, and medico-legal solidity.
