YPO is a Local Authority-owned national public buying organisation operating since 1974 from our Wakefield Headquarters. YPO operates a market leading education supplies business with turnover circa £115 Million p.a., plus a Framework Services business offering 100+ Frameworks including ICT, Energy, HR, Fleet and FM Solutions with consolidated spend upwards of £1 Billion. YPO are looking to award a number of contracts for single and multiple parcel consignment delivery service, single and multiple parcel collection service and single and multiple parcel delivery service with dedicated vehicles (hub and spoke) to facilitate YPO to deliver a range of products to our customers. Please note that this is a request for information to undertake pre-market engagement only and is being sought without prejudice and without commitment, Any information provided will not be used to determine the outcome of the tender process. When, or if, YPO wishes to proceed further a formal procurement process will be followed in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015. Lot 1: This contract is to provide YPO with high quality multiple third party logistics (3PL) companies for the sortation, consolidation, distribution, and the delivery of its products throughout the U.K. from its warehouses in Wakefield, West Yorkshire and the reverse logistics of collections from YPO customer establishments due to order processing and delivery errors. YPO are looking to contract for three lots, consisting of: LOT DESCRIPTION 1 Single & Multiple Parcel Consignment Delivery Service 2 Single and Multiple Parcel Collection Service 3 Single and Multiple parcel delivery service with dedicated vehicles (Hub & Spoke) YPO wishes to do some initial engagement activities with potential suppliers to further our understanding through the issuing of this PIN. YPO is looking for suppliers who would be interested in participating in market research and/or having a conversation with us and ask that you register your interest by contacting us at Logistics@ypo.co.uk on or before 23 March 2022. This is to ensure that there are no gaps in the potential service scope and that our intended model is deliverable, sustainable and future-proofed.
