Technical wind training for the wind energy industry

Scope of Work The successful service provider/s will be responsible for the delivery of one, some, all of the certified training programme(s) (or equivalent programmes) in the Republic of Ireland in the following areas: Lot 1 • GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) • GWO Basic Technical Training (BTT) • GWO Advanced Hub Rescue • GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher (BST) • GWO Basic Technical Training Refresher (BTT) • GWO Advanced Hub Rescue Refresher Lot 2 • Wind Turbine Safety Rules Training is to be delivered to 2 separate groups through a Framework Agreement. Group 1 is unemployed jobseekers looking to transition their career to the wind industry. This is planned to be run in Q2 2022. Further rounds may be commissioned subject to further funding from Skillnet Ireland for this programme and trainer performance. Group 2 is employed workers seeking training or refresher training in the courses mentioned in the above Lots. It is envisioned that multiple open courses will be run over the period of the contract of four years. Prices will be confirmed through mini competition on an annual basis. One, several or all providers can be approved as successful providers for delivery of the training for the employed. Please specify in your pricing schedule if you are delivering training for the employed,unemployed or both.
