Learning and Development Training Services Framework

Tender description

Dorset Council have a Framework for Learning and Development Training Services for providers who deliver training to people who work with children, young people, and adults accessing social care and housing services. Section 2 and appendix A of the Specification provides more information on the type of training we commission from this Framework. Providers can apply to join this Framework at any time, but we usually only evaluate new submissions each summer, in preparation for developing our training programme the following year. Being on the Framework gives no guarantee of work. Further competitions are run for specific courses and providers on the Framework are invited to bid. Dependent on needs, training courses will be delivered either: ‘live’ online, e-learning, face-to-face or a hybrid of these delivery methods. Face-to face training will usually be delivered in Dorset. Most face-to-face courses would not be delivered in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, as BCP Council are responsible for that area of Dorset. High quality training providers of all sizes that deliver a diverse range of training courses to the children’s and adult social care workforce are invited to apply.
