GB-Kettering: Bed & Theatre Modelling Consutlancy

Tender description

The University Hospitals of Northamptonshire wish to procure the management consultancy services to assess the future bed and theatre demand and capacity across the group acute sites at Northampton and Kettering General Hospitals. This will require analysis of the current bed and theatre capacity, and the future requirement taking into account the projected growth in population and future scenario planning for: -Length of stay -Activity delivery efficiencies e.g. increased use of day case, ambulatory care and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) -Activity shifts between sites -Changes in community provision -Theatre efficiencies (session and in session utilisation) -Covid assumptions on social distancing Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
