Tender description
Framework Agreement for the supply of Books, e-books, e-textbooks, and associated services. This tender is split into 11 Lots and Sub-lots. Lot 1: English language print books for library stock Print books primarily in UK languages to participating consortia member libraries. Participating consortia are SUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC, LUPC, HEPCW, NEYAL, MUAL, NoWAL, WHELF, and Academic Libraries North. Agreement open to member universities and their partners regardless of whether or not they are defined as Contracting Authorities for the purposes of the PCR 2015 Lot 2: Print books published in foreign languages or in countries where English is not the first language, for library stock Print books primarily in non-UK languages (or from countries where English is not the first language) to participating consortia member libraries. Participating consortia are SUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC, LUPC, HEPCW, NEYAL, MUAL, NoWAL, WHELF, and Academic Libraries North. Agreement open to member universities and their partners regardless of whether or not they are defined as Contracting Authorities for the purposes of the PCR 2015 Lot 3: Standing Orders Print and electronic Standing Order books supplied to participating consortia member libraries. Participating consortia are SUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC, LUPC, HEPCW, NEYAL, MUAL, NoWAL,WHELF, and Academic Libraries North. Agreement open to member universities and their partners regardless of whether or not they are defined as Contracting Authorities for the purposes of the PCR 2015 Lot 4.1: Individual title, DDA or package purchase for access on aggregator’s own platform, primarily UK languages E-books (title, package, or DDA level) on an aggregator platform primarily in UK languages to participating consortia member libraries. Participating consortia are SUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC, LUPC, HEPCW, NEYAL, MUAL, NoWAL, WHELF, and Academic Libraries North. Agreement open to member universities and their partners regardless of whether or not they are defined as Contracting Authorities for the purposes of the PCR 2015 Lot 4.2: Individual title, package or EBA purchase for access on a third-party platform E-books (title, package, or EBA level) purchased via an aggregator but made available via a third-party platform, to participating consortia member libraries. Participating consortia are SUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC, LUPC, HEPCW, NEYAL, MUAL, NoWAL, WHELF, and Academic Libraries North. Agreement open to member universities and their partners regardless of whether or not they are defined as Contracting Authorities for the purposes of the PCR 2015 Lot 4.3: Multi-publisher EBA for access via aggregator’s own platform E-books via multi-publisher EBA schemes delivered via an aggregator platform, to participating consortia member libraries. Participating consortia are SUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC, LUPC, HEPCW, NEYAL, MUAL, NoWAL, WHELF, and Academic Libraries North. Agreement open to member universities and their partners regardless of whether or not they are defined as Contracting Authorities for the purposes of the PCR 2015 Lot 4.4: Subscriptions for library access E-books supplied on an annual subscription basis to participating consortia member libraries. Participating consortia are SUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC, LUPC, HEPCW, NEYAL, MUAL, NoWAL, WHELF, and Academic Libraries North. Agreement open to member universities and their partners regardless of whether or not they are defined as Contracting Authorities for the purposes of the PCR 2015 Lot 4.5: Individual title, DDA or package purchase for access on aggregator’s own platform, primarily non-UK language E-books (title, package, or DDA level) on an aggregator platform primarily in non-UK languages to participating consortia member libraries. Participating consortia are SUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC, LUPC, HEPCW, NEYAL, MUAL, NoWAL, WHELF, and Academic Libraries North. Agreement open to member universities and their partners regardless of whether or not they are defined as Contracting Authorities for the purposes of the PCR 2015 Lot 5: E-textbook access, usually priced by specified number of core users and delivered via an e-textbook platform E-textbook access, usually priced by number of core users and delivered via an e-textbook platform, supplied to participating consortia member libraries. Participating consortia are SUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC, LUPC, HEPCW, NEYAL, MUAL, NoWAL, WHELF, and Academic Libraries North. Agreement open to member universities and their partners regardless of whether or not they are defined as Contracting Authorities for the purposes of the PCR 2015 Lot 6: English language print books for institution department purchase (primarily non-library) Print books primarily in UK languages for departmental purchase to participating consortia members. Participating consortia are SUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC, LUPC, HEPCW, NEYAL, MUAL, NoWAL, WHELF, and Academic Libraries North. Agreement open to member universities and their partners regardless of whether or not they are defined as Contracting Authorities for the purposes of the PCR 2015 Lot 7: Sales to individuals – staff and students (print or electronic) Sale of print books and/or e-books direct to individual students, staff, and alumi to participating consortia member libraries. Participating consortia are SUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC, LUPC, HEPCW, NEYAL, MUAL, NoWAL, WHELF, and Academic Libraries North. Agreement open to member universities and their partners regardless of whether or not they are defined as Contracting Authorities for the purposes of the PCR 2015
